On the surfaces, I add layers upon the layers, and then scrap them away in order to add more layers, in colors and textures, to reveal something underneath. The repetitions of the layers, lines, and patterns, as if the construction and demolition, coding and decoding, conveying both simplicity and complexity in our nature and society.
